Head Coach – Antonio Soave

 

Antonio Soave was a high school All-American who earned an NCAA Division I soccer scholarship and later went on to train in Italy with Lazio in the Serie A. He played and coached in the United States Interregional Soccer League (USISL) with the Detroit Wheels from 1993 to 1996. He was the Head Coach of the World Youth Soccer Academy (WYSA) at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex® in Florida from 1999 to 2003, and he later served as a consultant to the AC Milan Junior Camps in Vittorio Veneto, Italy. He was also the host of a nationally televised soccer adventure and instructional show, “The Soccer Academy,” and a pro scout and consultant for a FIFA-registered professional sports agency company in Verona, Italy.

 

Special Guest Coaches from Italy: Massimo Carli and Luigi Dusatti

Massimo Carli is the current Head Coach of Castelnuovo Garfagnana in the Italian Professional Development League of Serie D (Eccelenza).  He is a former standout player in the Italian Serie D and is currently a scout for Verona Calcio in the Italian Serie C (professional division) as well.  Massimo is joined by Coach Luigi Dusatti, who is a professional scout and a youth coach with Trento Calcio in the Italian professional league.  Like Massimo, Luigi is also a consultant to Verona Calcio.  Both Massimo and Luigi are members of the Soccer Management FIFA Verona Sports Agency in Italy, a premier professional soccer agency and management group that places professional players in Europe, Australia and the U.S.

The CSC has teamed up with some of the very best professional coaching in the world such as the Massimo Carli and Luigi Dusatti. Not only will campers learn great soccer skills, but they will also be exposed to a high level of Catholicism and Italian culture.  It is an international faith-based experience like no others.

 

The Soccer Academy Television Show is a travel and adventure show designed for youth soccer enthusiasts. It is truly unique because it helps promote global peace through greater cultural understanding, and it uses youth and pro soccer as a wonderful backdrop and tool. It is also an energetic, upbeat half-hour format with soccer tips, trivia, pro soccer clips and a kid’s corner. It is artistically directed is enveloped in music – the latest and coolest among teenagers. It airs every Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. on the second digital cable channel on a variety of ABC, NBC and CBS channels across the country in major cities such as Los Angeles, Phoenix, Tucson, Miami, Las Vegas, Houston, Reno and San Juan (Puerto Rico).
